So it Begins

The Walking Access Bill has had its first reading before the house, and it does not bode well - and that includes the provisions for walkers!!
A copy of the PDF version can be found here http://paperroadsociety.org.nz/pdfs/Walking_Access_Bill.pdf
This is a call to arms, to prevent this covert legislation from the pervasive Labour lobby farming groups from becoming legislation. If it does, I don't care what your politics/recreation/sport, you will see an all-consuming demise in land access rather than the vaulted improvement.
There is nothing wrong with current legislation. What is missing is the desire to enforce it.

Since they do not own this land, yet appear to be trying to permanently deprive its lawful owners of possession (that's the public), seems that this is a clear case of Theft as defined withing the Crimes Act - supported by s56 - but beware s58 !
