Repeater Etiquette
Allow a three second gap between transmissions. This will allow time for emergency calls. This will also make it easier for people to break-in.
An Emergency
During emergencies, leave the repeater channel free as much as possible. Otherwise if needed, please keep your communications short, or please use simplex channels.
Remember the three second gap…
Finally
Bad language is discouraged on PRS radio, the general level of tolerance of obscene language varies with changing community values and the context of the situation. For example, language acceptable in a modern play is totally unacceptable in a children’s pantomime. Remember in using this service you understand the nature of an uncontrolled medium such as Public Radio Service means nothing is censored and if you are easily offended suggest it best not to partake or listen any further.
